๐๏ธ Delete your WhatPet data
This page is for our app, What Pet Should I Get? (called WhatPet on your home screen), on the App Store and Google Play. Here's how to delete what it keeps.
In the app. A grown-up who signed in opens Family (or Class) โ Sync & devices โ "Delete โฆ from the cloud." That deletes your family's or class's data and your account straight away. If you signed in with Apple, the app also removes its access to your Apple ID.
Without the app. Send us a message through our contact form from the email address the app shows under Family โ Sync & devices, and write "Delete my WhatPet data." We'll reply to that address to check it's yours, delete everything within 30 days, and tell you when it's done. If you signed in with Apple, you can also remove the app under Sign in with Apple in your Apple ID settings.
What gets deleted. Your group's pets and their photos, everyone's nicknames, the jobs and who did them, notes, class schedules, every linked device, and your sign-in account.
What we keep. Nothing linked to you. Finished pet-quiz results are anonymous, with no name or account, so they stay in our quiz statistics.
Just one kid's tablet? A grown-up can remove any device under Family โ Sync & devices, or the tablet can remove itself. That deletes the tablet's anonymous account and keeps the family's data.
Never signed in? Then nothing is stored with us, and deleting the app deletes everything.
Our privacy policy lists everything the app keeps.
